Dr. John Kleinhoffer, OD
Dr. John Kleinhoffer is a life long resident of Highland, IL. He graduated from UMSL School of Optometry in 1986. He opened his practice Dr. John Kleinhoffer Family Eye Care in 1994.
Dr. Kleinhoffer specializes in eye examinations, specialty contact fittings, lasik work ups, glaucoma treatment, cataract screening, and emergency eye health. When Dr. Kleinhoffer is not working he enjoys spending time with his family, playing the drums with his band Effic, and traveling.
Dr. Natalie Hutchison, OD
She attended the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL where she completed clinical rotations specializing in ocular disease, contact lenses, and pediatrics at the Sidney Hillman Health Center, Illinois College of Optometry, University of Chicago Hospital, and Dr. Becherer and Associates. While in school, Dr. Hutchison was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society.
Dr. Hutchison is a member of the American Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association, and the Southwestern Illinois Optometric Society. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and is experienced with diabetic examinations, pediatric and kindergarten exams, management of glaucoma, pre and postoperative refractive surgery and cataract management.
Mary, Optician
Mary is our Optician. She has been working in optics over 30 years and has been a certified optician since 1988.
Mary has been working for Dr. Kleinhoffer since he opened his practice in 1994.
Mary loves to spend time with her family, work in her back yard oasis, and travel when she is not working.
Michelle, Optician
Michelle has been working in the optometry field since 1991 and has been a certified optician since 2001.
She started working with Dr. Kleinhoffer in 2001 where she specializes in billing for the office.
In Michelle’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, feeding the cardinals in her back yard, and watching her son’s golf team. Go Vandalia Vandals!
Jayne, Front Desk Specialist
When Jayne is not working she loves to spend time with her family she especially enjoys watching all her grandchildren at their sporting events. Go Highland Bulldogs!
Amber, Optician
She works mainly as an optician but very often she helps tech, scribe, and work the lab so you may get the pleasure of meeting her during pre-test or she may be your expert opinion on frame selection.
In Amber’s spare time, she loves to spend time with family, is a bonified Star Wars nerd, and loves Halloween.
Diana, lab Technician
Diana has been working in the Optometry field since 1989 and has been working with Dr. Kleinhoffer since 2015.
Diana is a lab technician so Diana is not always seen but she is our expert in the lab and the reason we are confident that your glasses will be accurate and timley.
Diana loves to spend time with her family and as new grandma especially enjoys time with her grandchildren.
Vicki, Technician
Vicki has been working in the Optometry field since 2016 and has been working with Dr. Kleinhoffer since 2018. Vicki is our technician at the office so all of our patients get to hang out in her ‘office’ before seeing Dr. Kleinhoffer.
When Vickie is not working she loves spending time with her family. She especially enjoys travelling to watch her children play softball, football, and hockey. Go Highland Bulldogs!
Leah, Technician
Leah has been working in the Optometry field since 2016 and started working with Dr. Kleinhoffer in 2019. Leah works an optician so she will meet you after seeing Dr. Kleinhoffer where she will assist you in getting contacts or picking out the perfect frame.
Leah is a new mom so she loves spending time with her little guy. She also enjoys time outdoors with her fur babies.
